ABOUT FOODLABS

FoodLabs (FL) is a VC and venture studio based in Berlin focusing on Food-, Agtech, and Sustainability. We’ve previously backed leading food tech startups such as Gorillas, Microharvest, Infarm, Meatable, Mushlabs, or Formo.

In our Founder Studio, we consistently explore new opportunities to change the food landscape in Europe together with the most daring entrepreneurs and scientists. We are currently looking for a Co-Founder (m/f/x) to build a health tech startup with us leveraging the latest breakthroughs in sleep tracking and supplements.

YOUR ROLE

As a founding team member and building on your past experiences, you will develop the company from the ground up and significantly contribute to achieving great success in a highly disruptive space. In your role as Co-Founder of a new venture of FoodLabs, you assume responsibility for the following tasks, amongst many other exciting challenges:

• You prove the feasibility of the business case and work towards wide product acceptance among customers

• You shape the business case and take responsibility for its operational and strategic development together with the FoodLabs team

• You complete building the founding team, make initial key hires and set up a high-performing organization best suited for the business model

• You develop growth and marketing strategies to convince first customers, build a willingness to re-purchase among them and expand product categories later on

• Together with your co-founding team and the support of FoodLabs, you will raise follow-on investments for the further growth of the business

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• An entrepreneurial mindset and exceptional problem-solving skills fueled by strong strategic thinking, business judgment and creativity

• Substantial experience in accelerating growth of consumer-facing brands, ideally in a start-up environment

• Comfortable in high pressure environments and no matter the field, you have proven to be a key driving force for success in your previous roles

• Strong hands-on attitude and willingness to take on various tasks inside and outside your field of expertise

• Proven track record in building, managing and scaling ambitious teams leading by example with outstanding people management skills

• A passion for health, nutrition, and wellbeing

• You are fluent English (C1) in oral and written communication, fluency in German is of advantage
