Join our mission-driven  VCteam seeking the next generation of breakthrough ventures in spaces such as climate, agriculture, biotech, and nutrition in Europe, the UK, the US, and beyond. In this role, you will own the entire venture lifecycle from deal sourcing, assessment, and closing. You will build out the FoodLabs network and trusted relationships with diverse LPs all over the world.


Your Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Strong LP & VC Network: Leverage existing LP and VC network to strengthen relationships and identify potential investors.

  • Positive Signaling: Convey a positive and compelling narrative to prospective investors, creating enthusiasm about supporting FoodLabs and our amazing founders.

  • Hunter Mentality: Demonstrate a relentless and proactive "hunter" mentality to identify and secure new investors.

  • Independent Funnel Ownership: Take full ownership of the fundraising funnel, from initial outreach to deal closing, including effective filtering and prioritization.

  • Strategic Outreach and Contact Management: Conduct strategic outreach to potential investors and diligently manage relationships, ensuring a high level of engagement.

Job requirements

What you need to succeed

  • Fundraising Experience: Possess a proven track record of fundraising, with experience in securing significant funds from diverse LP classes.

  • Strategic Overview of Potential LP Base: Develop and maintain a strategic overview of potential LP base, including Fund of Funds, State Pension Funds, Retirement Funds, Family Offices, etc. on a global scale.

  • VC Know-How: Have a strong understanding of fundraising dynamics within the VC investment landscape.

  • Willingness for International Travel (min. 60%): Be prepared for frequent international travel to cultivate relationships and explore fundraising opportunities globally. 

  • Flawless English Language Skills: From professional pitch to casual banter you can offer the whole repertoire. Additional language skills, such as German, are of great advantage.
