ABOUT THE COMPANY

At Again we put CO₂ to good use. Our novel, bio-manufacturing process combines natural, gas-eating bacteria, with cutting-edge technology to turn CO₂ into carbon-negative chemicals. We have figured out how to collect the unavoidable carbon outputs from industry and reuse them to manufacture emission-free chemicals - a win-win for everyone.

Our first-of-a-kind carbon-negative manufacturing facility is already live, operating at a commercial scale, converting real-world emissions into emission-free products for our end customers. To support our journey, we have raised over €50m in funding from venture capital investors and in grant funding to date.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a PR and Communications Manager to help us tell our story – the story of how we are putting CO2 to good use. This is a hands-on and multidisciplinary role and you will be wearing many different hats. You will be responsible for helping us engage our various audiences, from industrial stakeholders to the general public who have been waiting on a solution like ours. Your responsibilities include: 

• You will be responsible for overall brand development, helping us tell our story in a creative and visual way
• You will be working with our Commercial team to develop BD strategies that align with our goals
• You will help us build our overall audience on social media and improve our employer branding
• As part of getting our story out there, we need to do a lot of communications work, which is something you are comfortable doing (liaising with press and media)
• Overall, your responsibility will be to ensure that our brand is consistent. From visual elements to our tone of voice, you'll be our brand police.

• You have several years (max. 4-5) of relevant experience, ideally in a similar role at a start-up or working for an agency
• You love storytelling and can define the company’s key messages
• You are creative and good at copy, and can spot many opportunities to improve this job ad (bonus points if you have some suggestions for us in our first call)
• You are hands on - and good at creating visual content and can design
• You are passionate about not just talking about the climate crisis, but actually doing something to solve it
